Everybody likes to travel. Traveling is like an addiction. Particularly young people who like to get maximum traveling pleasure and adventure as well; mountain hiking might be a very good option for them. But before go for mountain hiking some extra preparation are compulsory. Let’s learn about it.

Things that should be got priority some very important items like food, water, sunscreen and sunhat, winter hat and mitts or gloves, raingear, hiking or walking stick. Weather condition in mountain area changes very quickly. So take extra food and water help keep you fueled, extra clothing helps keep you warm and dry, and in case it’s sunny and clear, sun protection helps keep you from turning into a lobster. Besides packing necessary things you can also take some sporting instruments to enjoy some game there like. But you should avoid unnecessary instruments like personalized golf tees because you don’t expect to get opportunity to play golf in mountainous area.

After having or packing compulsory items let’s think about weather. In mountain area heavy rain is rare but you might face some shower. So you can protect yourself from these conditions by using waterproofed boots or Gore-Tex boots, waterproof but breathable raingear, waterproof jacket and pants. You should also consider about walking in wet path. So you can take hiking sticks or walking canes for men and women. You can easily buy it from any walking canes manufacturer or seller.

Take extra caution while walking in a downhill. You should bend the knees and lean forward. You might feel uneasy while leaning forwards but after a while you would find it easy. In contrast leaning backwards, your feet have a tendency to fly out from underneath you, especially when there are loose ball-bearing-like rocks underfoot. Remember walking downhill is more difficult than climbing up. During walking in a downhill you might use adjustable hiking pools. In recent times adjustable hiking poles have become popular. It provides resemble ski poles, but you can find some springs inside, and they can be easily adjusted to anybody’s height. In addition you can remove extra load from your feet and knees while hiking, especially on downhill sections.
In conclusion it is also suggested that during hiking rest is very important in regular interval. Don’t try to give too much pressure in your feet or knees if you feel uncomfortable.
